IPGA guides are endorsed by the International Polar Guides Asociation, having satisfied all the criteria for becoming a Terrestrial Polar Guide or Master Polar Guide. Only registered IPGA guides with a current membership may wear the IPGA patch and use the IPGA logo.
IPGA regularly reviews practices in polar guiding. We tap into the deep knowledge of our active guides to document and publish standard operating procedures which are made available to our guiding community.
